How long have Hyprosteps (inc. Waldens) been trading?

Waldens started making willow baskets on wheels in 1850 and became Hyprosteps in 1988. Hyprosteps are the leading manufacturer of safety steps, with Walden trucks and trolleys, we complete a quality range of access and material handling equipment. Find out more on our About Us page.
Do trade customers get discounts compared to general retail customers?

Yes, we offer our trade customers very competitive trade discounts.
Do you offer credit?
- Yes, we have standard credit arrangements.
Can customers visit the factory?

Yes, we are very happy to welcome new customers and show them around our factory and facilities.
Where do you source your metal? Is this traceable?

Metal is sourced from UK, US and EU and Hyprosteps have ISO 9001 accreditation. Find out more on our Quality Assurance page.
Do you hold products in stock?

Some of our most popular products are kept in stock, for example, certain trucks, barrows and trolleys. For more information on our lead times, visit our Shipping and Returns page.
Can I place a small one-off order?

Yes, we accept any size order, from a £2 wheel accessory and upwards.
Can I order bespoke products?

Yes, We can specify, design and build equipment for even the most bespoke requirements. Our designs are created using AutoCad.
Do you make urgent/ special deliveries?

Yes, as well as using couriers, we also have our own transport.
Can I return any products?

We have approximately 400 customers nationwide, which continues to grow on a weekly basis. With the support of a helpful, experienced and knowledgeable team at the end of a phone and a dedicated account manager, we help you through every step of the process. As manufacturers, we are able to give clear, trustworthy advice on all aspects of our products, from weight capacities to alternative products
